Dear MYYL,

We think it’s fantastic that we can use the unique email address format, awesome_company+unicorn_role@myyltech.com. It’s so convenient that we can reuse this for the same role repeatedly and switch it as needed. Truly awesome and that we can use any anonymous alias from our company side as well so that we could even use myyl@awesome_company.com or anything else we would like to do, because we know you can normalize for us based on awesome_company.com.

We’re thrilled to explore the opportunity of collaborating with you. We understand the challenges of finding the right candidates and are excited to see how feedback on anonymized and aggregated resumes can help us evaluate the quality of our ATS system. We appreciate that our job postings are publicly available, and we’re impressed by your initiative to use these for standardization efforts. The fact that this service is free for everyone during the initial phase is truly commendable.

We’re keen to fill the following role: [Insert hardest-to-fill job here]. We believe an initial test with four aggregated and normalized resumes for $20 is a practical way to assess our ATS system’s effectiveness. If we need detailed feedback on why certain resumes did or didn’t match, we agree that $100 for an hour-long call is fair. For specialized services like optimizing our pool of resumes, we’re open to scheduling a separate call to discuss a more premium, long-term service.

We eagerly anticipate the availability of standardized, aggregated, and anonymized resumes for this role so that we can commence our test. We understand that you first need to focus on standardization, but we’re looking forward to a paid pilot. In that case, please feel free to reach out to the relevant stakeholder.

We’re also looking forward to seeing more executive reports in the near future and are certainly open to paying a premium for this service. We love the concept of having a steady flow of candidates moving through to our interview process. The idea of both the job seeker and the employer providing anonymous and standardized feedback to improve the experience from both sides is appealing.

We appreciate your discretion in not revealing who might be lurking on this challenge. We also love the strategy of using unique email addresses, similar to the candidates, allowing us to refine our job descriptions. We understand that you’re not interested in revealing the pay scale for our jobs because at the end of the day, we’re just looking for the perfect match to grow our business. We also understand that it’s not MYYL’s responsibility to provide offers or salary negotiation services and that you can’t guarantee any success rate.

Your process, reminiscent of a dating service “designed to be deleted”, is appealing. We hope that the tedious job seeker-company matching exercise will soon be a thing of the past and that recruiters and job seekers can focus on building out these great relationships. We appreciate that MYYL works with resume aggregates to evaluate matches and always provides the closest matching job seeker, making it easy to provide honest feedback without legal challenges. On top of that we are proud to share that all our interviewers has successfully read the book Crucial Conversations and that we keep having regular workshops on this important topic.

We look forward to the additional services MYYL offers, such as personalized ice breakers, team building, and 90-day plans that are also matching so well the combination of the company and the new found job seeker. We value the continued support for the job seeker once the perfect match is found. We understand these services come at a premium, but we’re already learning a lot from the insightful blogs on LinkedIn so initially we are not looking into this service.

We appreciate MYYL’s commitment to privacy and understand that our email will be deleted if we’re not satisfied with the team building exercise. However, we also understand that once we’re in a contract and have paid for a service, our email needs to be kept on file for accurate financial reporting and potential investor appeal.

We’re impressed with your commitment to data security, storing data in bare metal in your castle, and keeping security top of mind.

Thank you for this opportunity, and we look forward to working with you.

Best Regards, [Your Company Name]
